PATRICIA E. CANTERBURY is a native Sacramentan, an award winning poet, an award winning short story writer, novelist and political scientist. Her first published novel, The Secret of St. Gabriel's Tower, is the first of a proposed midgrade mystery series; A Poplar Cove Mysteries. Carlotta's Secret, the first of her children's fantasy mysteries, The Delta Mysteries Series was published in February 2001. Patricia won the First Annual Georgia State Chapbook contest in 1987 for her poetry chapbook, Shadowdrifters … Images of China. Pat lives in Sacramento with her husband, Richard and their pets. Pat is currently hard at work on her great grandmother's memoir Victoria's Children-An American Family, a remberence of a maternal great grandmother, who raised 17 of her own children. Pat is also putting the finishing touches on her first adult mystery, working title Every Thursday , which is due in bookstores by Thanksgiving. Carrying on her "grown-up" themes she's working on her third Tanner Sullivan Caper. The first was showcased in Capital Crime. |
